Photos and snap pictures of Pueblo of Cataño, Puerto Rico   Cataño was founded in 1927 by Hernando de Cataño. This town is also known as "La Antesala de la Capital", Cataño is home to the famous Bacardi Rum Plant, which is the largest rum distillery in the world. Visitors may tour this plant and visit a small museum exhibits showcasing Bacardi's history. Tours are open Mon-Sat. from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (787) 788-8400.
