Corona & Oakley Surf Contest October 8-10-2004: The staff: This weekend Isabela was the chosen by the Association of Professional Surfers of Puerto Rico for the Corona Extra Pro Surf Circuit Tournament along with Oakley Surf Wear. Local and foreign surfers had the chance to show their skills over the waves for a grand prize of $6,000.00. The event was filled with color and was one of those where you can bring the whole family to enjoy. We should also mention that it took place in a very organized and safely fashion. A sudden heavily showers kept us from shooting the last half of the air show on Sunday at 2:00 PM however we managed to take some pictures before the showers. Later on we were notified that a contestant was rushed in an ambulance after hitting the reefs but we have no further details regarding this matter. We are honored to show here a glimpse for those who weren't able to make it. Since our photo gear was jeapardized by the sudden showers and we had to leave, we aren't able to provide here with scoring information, winners, etc... October 9th October 10th Air show
