Palacete
Los Moreau:
Located
in Moca
Puerto Rico,
el Palacete Los Moreau holds a beautiful story within its
walls and floors. Designed by the French engineer Paul Servojean
by thenin charge of La
Central Coloso
in Aguada and constructed by then distinguished constructor Mr.
Manuel Gómez Tejera. It took 12 years to be completed and
some records shows that this is the 2nd house built with concrete in
Puerto Rico. The house was finished in 1905 in the middle of over 100
acres, mostly cultivated with coffee and sugar cane. This majestic
place is the inspiration of Enrique E Laguerre for his novel
''La
Llamarada''. In 1993, the municipality of Moca acquires the
property and name it ''El Palacete Los Moreau'' in honor to
the fictional characters from ''La Llamarada'' novel.
