Photos and snap pictures of Pueblo of Arecibo, Puerto Rico

Arecibo was settled in 1556, and founded sixthy years later, in 1616, when the King of Spain granted that portion of land and the inhabitants natives living on it to Lope Conchillos, under the governorship of Captain Felipe de Beaumont y Navarra settlement. Arecibo is also known as "La Villa del Capitán Correa", this in memory of the battle fought successfully on its shores by Captain Antonio Correa.
